A Cumberland Project by Samantha S. Pappas

Yarmouth-based interior designer, Samantha S. Pappas, recently completed a full home renovation project for a wonderful family in Cumberland, Maine. In addition to guiding her clients through all interior and exterior building selections, Samantha also curated all furnishings, accessories, and art for the home.

We are grateful that Samantha and her clients chose eight works of art from five of our artists at The Willard Gallery. Scroll down to see glimpses of what these works look like in their lovely new home, thanks to the beautiful photos taken by Courtney Elizabeth Media.

Lucie Phillips’s Pointedly looks perfect in a bathroom; Wild Plant Bubble Vase by Elizabeth Endres anchors the chic game nook.

Another painting by Lucie Phillips takes center stage in this view of the house’s bonus room.

A tiny Anne Darby Parker figure found a cozy corner on the coffee bar; Nearby, another Anne Darby Parker and Julie Bowers Murphy complement each other in this view of the bonus room.

Anne Darby Parker’s Young Lady in the Garden pairs beautifully with the curves of this cute chair duo; Julie Bowers Murphy’s Grey Day in Penobscot Bay atop the fireplace is actually a reproduction for the family’s Frame TV.

A pair of figures from Jessie Mackay’s travels - Alaska and France - are placed in a bedroom.
