Art in the Kitchen

Given how central a role the kitchen plays in our daily lives at home, it makes perfect sense to me to fill your kitchen with art that you love. Placement is key, in order to protect the works from heat, grease, or splatters. Framed works on paper or prints under glass might be a safer bet for high traffic prep areas or spots within reach of the stove, but I wouldn’t shy away from safely incorporating some of your beloved original canvases throughout the kitchen as well.

Some spacious kitchens allow for a bigger work of art to take center stage, while others might be better suited for displaying art on open shelves. I’ve gathered some of my favorite art in kitchen inspiration below - some of which even include glimpses of work by our own gallery artists.
