In-Home Gallery Showings
We’ve had such wonderful experiences through our in-home gallery showings for clients within driving distance from Portland - throughout parts of Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts - these last few months. These showings are perfect for those collectors who are curious as to how different works of art from the gallery might look like in their own home.
This particular client - a collector of Elizabeth Endres paintings - was almost certain she knew which painting she’d select for her home. We tried this first painting, a work with her preferred signature pops of pink and orange hues, over the table (a space she was trying to fill) as an accent in her living room - see the photo below.
We then placed this second painting - with mostly greens and blues - atop her mantel and fireplace with its beautiful Delft tile. Seeing this second painting here, she knew immediately that she’d found her painting and stumbled upon the perfect home for it. Placed near the matching Delft tile surround of the fireplace, it almost appeared as though the painting was created for this very space.
Giving this collector the chance to see both works by Elizabeth Endres she absolutely loved in her own home, among her own things gave her the confidence to know which work of art to select.
Below is a view of a prior commission from Elizabeth Endres which is perfectly at home in another room in the house, but also includes a nod to the house’s Delft tile and the family’s beloved black lab.
